Important information regarding your orders

Postage 


All items are handmade to order and are sent 1st Class Royal Mail. They are normally despatched within 3-5 working days unless payment is made by cheque in which case the cheque may take 3 days to clear. In exceptionally busy times it may take a little longer but I will advise you when the order is placed. If I have to source embellishments or ribbons for custom orders, delivery could take longer but I will confirm once the order has been received. 

All orders (including postal) will be acknowledged by email and should I have any queries, I will raise them at this point. Therefore, please be aware that it may go into your junk mail folder! If I have a query, it is vital that you respond as sometimes this will delay your order 

If ordering from outside the UK, delivery will be longer but you will be advised in your confirmation email. Postage fees for overseas shipping can be found at the end of the shop and should be added to your shopping cart

In the event of a missing order, please note that Royal Mail will not classify a parcel as missing until 15 working days have elapsed 

Next Day Delivery is available for UK residents and the extra charge should be added to your shopping cart from the online shop. However, PLEASE check with me first to make sure that I am available to do this.  (Email or telephone) Sometimes I already have urgent orders booked in and am unable to complete anymore or on rare occasions I may be away for the day!.

If orders are placed before 12 noon, generally I am able to post out the same day. Orders received after midday will be posted the following day.

 

General 

 It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate personalisation details. Please check spellings and dates as once burnt into the wood I am unable to erase. These details must be given with the order, either during check out or by email - I do not take details over the telephone to avoid mistakes

 I do not take returns or cancellations if the item has been personalised, however, if the mistake is clearly mine, I will replace and refund your postage once the faulty item has been returned.

 

From time to time, I may photograph an order for future use on my website or social media sites. This would only be AFTER the date or occasion the item is intended for. If you would rather your item was not used for this purpose - please advise me when ordering.
